| Sort email after using Cyber Sentry Spam |
Most users of
Cyber Sentry Spam use the inbuilt reaction mechanism to manage the
sorting, quarantining and deletion of spam. This system will allow you
to:
- leaving the email alone and allowing it to reach it's destination
- tag it's subject line and then allow it to reach it's destination
- quarantine the email and warn the recipient
- delete the email
Companies can
also choose not to have any reactions performed by Cyber Sentry Spam.
They can choose to use their own mail sever or inbox rules to sort the
email.
While we cant
support such installations, here are a few tips which will help you to
get started:
Inbox
Sorting (sort the email on your desktop):
- Outlook or Outlook Express
- Create a new folder called Spam in your inbox.
To do this right click on your inbox and select NEW FOLDER
- Select "Tools" and then "Rules
Wizard" from the title meue.
- Select "New"
- Select "Check messages when the
arrive" and "next"
- Select "With specific words in
the message header" and then enter "X-Spam-Status:
Yes" as the phrase to search for.
- Select "Next"
- Select "Move to a specified
folder" and then select the
folder you created in step 2
Mail
Server Sorting (sort the email on your mail server before it gets to
your users desktop):
- Microsoft
