Cyber Sentry is a fully managed and automated system that protects xSP's and their customer's domains from viruses and inappropriate content by scanning the networks SMTP protocol traffic. A team of professional engineers manage everything, from installation to continual updating.
Cyber Sentry uses multiple Antivirus engines with all SMTP content being passed through these engines from different leading vendors, thus allowing greater resilience against known and unknown viruses. By using multiple engines Cyber Sentry is not governed by a single scan criteria allowing different analysis of the same code (e.g. heuristics, pattern matching etc) giving a comprehensive breakdown of every email.
Cyber Sentry is provided by installing dedicated servers in the NOC of the xSP. The xSP then adds domains to Cyber Sentry by using a secure web interface.
